Escaping

[Naoko Usagi]

Naoko ran for it. He just got done with a job and then took off. He knew they would be furious back at base but he didn't care. He ran with his hands in his pockets as a bundle of cash hung from his mouth. He had stole it from a few finders to buy food while he was on the run. He didn't think they would find him in this crowd and if they did he could easily lose them.

Suku rode on Naoko's shoulders getting weird looks from everyone they passed. He didn't care as it wasn't like them squealing on them would make a difference. The order would still have to find someway to catch him without it looking like a kidnapping. Suku yelped a bit when Naoko jumped over a stone wall to the other side of the shopping district.

"Now to Eat."

Naoko nodded happily and started to walk. They were on a whole different street now and it wasn't as crowded. He knew if any of the exorcist came near Suku would be able to sniff them out. He knew the scent of every finder and he doubted they would send a powerful Exorcist to get him. The knew the guy that normally search for them by name. It just mattered which was coming.

[Lavi]

Lavi peered around, trying to find the 'runaway Exorcist.' He had just gotten back to HQ, and it was right after a mission. Normally a good time for him to nap or talk with another of his comrades just to chill out, but nooo. They just had to send him out immediately to go search for an Exorcist who had ran away, apparently. Now, Komui hadn't mentioned the name of the person, but Lavi had a good idea of who it probably was.. 'Prolly that guy,' he thought.

Now, Lavi had never met Naoko before, but he had heard about him from other Exorcists and finders before. The redhead knew and remembered every detail about it, whether he wanted to or not. His memory was just like that. Naoko Usagi. Around Lavi's same age, as he had heard.. And he had a parasitic type Innocence. Not much to go off of. Yup, he just got sent on a mission saying 'go find this kid 'cause he's an Exorcist!' Lavi just thought to himself. 'This's gonna take a while.. Might as well make myself comfy.'

How funny. Lavi's Exorcist happened to be right near him, on the same street. Suku would probably be able to notice the Innocence in its pouch on the side of Lavi's leg, if he was cautious enough. Or, hey, maybe even he would be able to notice Lavi right off the bat as Bookman Junior? Everything had a high possibility of happening, and in any case, he would probably be noticed anyways.

An all-too-familiar growling sound filled the air, and Lavi only sighed. "Ah, man.. I'm starved," he stated, looking around. He was in the shopping district. There absolutely had to be some sort of place where he could get something to eat somewhere! If there wasn't.. Well, in that case, it would be a long day.

Not like it wasn't going to be, anyways.

[Naoko Usagi]

Naoko continued down the street until he found an apple stand. He bought four, one for himself and the other three for Suku. He Thanked the man with a small head bow and walked back into the wave of people. He wouldn't have kept walking if Suku didn't just pull his hair. People weaved around his stopped form as Suku spoke to him.

"Naoko, I have some weird news. There is an innocence around. Do you think its the order? They never send exorcist. I don't know if this is bad or good."

Suku had found Lavi. He noticed a white aura and when he saw that he knew it was innocence. It looked like some sort of hammer but just by the aura he couldn't tell. Growling lightly he pulled Naoko's hair in that direction as people complained about them getting in their way. One they were next to him Suku jumped down and sat in Naoko's arms. He was held were the apples were so on he was holding them as Naoko held him.

"Hi, There you look hungry. Ummm....Do you want an Apple?"

Naoko said very quietly. His eyes were hidden and he had a light smile on. Lavi should get the point that Naoko knew who he was. He was still cautious waiting for the right time to run again. He took one to the apples out of Suku's hands as he heard him trying to get it back. Holding it up he tilted his head and waited. He knew not to trust the guy and there was no way he was going to stay around here. The guy had probably noticed him too by now. I mean he was running around is a weird uniform. He was hard to miss once you got in the right area.

Suku wasn't pleased with this at all. They should have knocked him out or set some traps. Suku knew Naoko was ready to bolt and he would probably do it very soon but did that mean they had to sacrifice one of his apples? He quickly started eating the biggest one encase Naoko gave him more. He growled the whole times staring up at their current enemy. He didn't know if Lavi could once but he was preparing one of the abilities which made them practically uncatchable.
