A small hand brushed off a thin layer of dust from a seemingly ancient wall belonging to the interior of the abandoned Black Order HQ. "Holy moly.. So this place was actually in use two months ago? Sure doesn't look like it.." Jolene Stubart, a new recruit to the Black Order, had been snooping around the old HQ since the mission she had been given was in the relative area. Now, what was this mission? It seemed to be that there was a strange happening in the town to the direct south of the old building and Innocence was involved, along with rumors of a level three wandering the area in search of it. Now Jolene had never slain a single Akuma before and much less had never even seen a level one before so she was incredibly scared and confused.
After all, from what she was told, level ones were far more powerful than level zeroes and level twos were even worse than those level ones. Level threes.. Forget it. Jolene wondered if she was going to die on this mission since now that the Finder she was with and her had been separated, she was alone, and this meant that the level three could probably attack at any moment should it be in the HQ. Earlier, she had been in the town looking for anything weird about the Innocence but had been terrified when a prankster child came out of the dark alley and jumped at her for a joke, thinking it was the Akuma, and promptly scampered off to the HQ.
"Sigh.. I'm so pathetic. I hope the Finder's all right and alive.." Jolene let her hand fall from the wall to her side, hanging freely. 'This is too scary.. I thought that killing Akuma would be nothing more than getting Vengeance, activating it, and beating the **** out of the dang things but this is proving quite different than what I thought it would be like,' the Exorcist thought, ears on total alert for any sound other than her breathing. A nervous giggle escaped her lips followed by an even more nervous sigh. "Wow.. I'm a pathetic excuse for an Exorcist.. Heheh.. I'm just running from these things! After all, that level three's just a rumor discussed at lunch. Anyone could have just made up that. Sigh.." Jolene turned around, back to the dusty wall, and sat up against it, sliding down to a sitting position. "Heheh, that's just hilarious.. Sigh."
What Jolene really needed to do was to chill out.

'It's so hard to believe,' she thought as she walked quietly through the abandoned hallways of the old Black Order. Lenalee had only been here two months ago, and the place was already covered with dust. Lenalee placed her hand upon a dusty pillar that stretched up to meet the ceiling above her head. She couldn't help but gaze down the hall that lay in front of her. She remembered when people used to live here, when the halls were lively, and when Jerry would cook for everybody in the kitchen. And she remembered making coffee for her brother, Komui, in the large place as well. But, that was all over now. Lenalee missed the old Headquarters, but they had a new one now, and she liked it there just as much as she liked the old one. But still...
Lenalee couldn't help but wipe a tear from her face. All of those memories were making her sad. But it wasn't really a depressed kind of sad, it was more of a happy-sad (if you could call it that). She could still bring her brother coffee (when time permitted), and the people that she loved most were still alive. "There you go, that's the way to think about it," she said optimistically. She began to walk toward the end of the hall when she heard a noise. Her first instinct was to stay perfectly still. She was ready to activate her Innocence at any given moment. She heard laughing off to her right, but it was more of a giggle than any maniacal sort of laugh. Still, it was an oddity, and she was tense.
"Wow.. I'm a pathetic excuse for an Exorcist.. Heheh.. I'm just running from these things! After all, that level three's just a rumor discussed at lunch. Anyone could have just made up that," she heard a voice say. 'Another exorcist? Here?' she thought. The voice sighed and spoke again. "Heheh, that's just hilarious." Whoever this person was, they sounded deeply depressed. What was all that sighing about? Lenalee rounded the corner slowly. There was a blonde in and exorcists uniform sitting against a column. Lenalee tilted her head to one side. After overhearing all of that, she felt bad for her. She started to walk over to her. This had to be an exorcist, because she didn't really sense anything funny about the area.
"Ummm....," she said as she finally got close enough. "Hello. Are you okay?"
